过程与方法
1. 结合音标认读本单元所学词汇，达到见词能读的程度。
2. 结合课本中的图片，正确认知词汇所表达的含义，把单词的音、形、义有机地结合起来，加深对词汇的正确理解。
3. 通过阅读、讨论，学会正确运用本单元出现的一些词组、句型。在具体的语言环境中，体会理解本单元的语法项目。
4. 通过对话练习和听力训练，能将英语表达形式与所表意义正确联系起来，对所学知识能够较准确地应用到交际实际中。
5. 通过对句型的学习，学会询问和表达意愿及作出决定缘由的基本语句，并通过阅读及练习加以扩展和巩固。

教材分析
本单元围绕 “Places you would like to visit” 进行教学活动的。着重介绍了would like (love) to do sth. 这一句型，进一步复习巩固特殊疑问句和一般将来时态。在此基础上学习很多的新词和常用语型，例如：It’s +adj. +for sb. to do sth.和enough to do sth., not …any more等。此外还简单地介绍了时间段与谓语动词的搭配使用和几组同、近义词的用法。本单元还介绍了发e-mail去征求别人的意见和看法。另外本单元还介绍了机器人的发展过程以及将会给人们带来些什么。
