WuZhen
A popular architectural piece in this town is ‘Bridge in bridge’ which is created by two ancient bridges which can be seen through the arch of each other， and makes for an interesting photograph. The former residence of literary figure Mao Dun， one of the greatest modern novelists in China， the Mao Dun Museum can also be seen.
Zhouzhuang
This town is also referred to as the “The Venice of China”。 Shen Ting （the Hall of Shen's Residence） is made up of more than 100 rooms and courtyards and was built to be the private residence of a wealthy merchant family. Twin Bridges consists of Shide Bridge and Yongan Bridge. They are considered the symbol of Zhouzhuang， due to a painting of these bridges making this town famous， and it representing the friendship and cooperation between China and America.
Xitang
Ceilinged corridors， which provide shelter from both the baking hot sun and the rain， are a distinctive feature of Xitang. Each family put a ceiling over the road in front of their house and all the ceilings now connect to over 1300m long！
A curious attraction in Xitang is the Button Museum， which includes the largest button-making centre in China， and accounts for about 40 per cent of the nation's output！
Tongli
‘Tuisi （Retreat and Meditation） Park’ seems to float on water. With paths winding around fishponds and dotted with wooden pavilions， the ingenious design for Tuisi Garden conforms to the local landforms and creates a very relaxing place for you to enjoy.
